Mini Diorama Contest
Hosted by the North Texas T-TRAK Modular Railroad Club, the Mini Diorama Contest is a fun, hands-on activity where participants can build and decorate their own miniature scene.
Purchase a module for $5, gather decorations from the provided materials or bring your own, then create a one-of-a-kind diorama. Anything goes—let your imagination run wild.
All entries can be entered into a raffle, and participants must be present to win.
Choo Choo Express
A favorite among families, the Choo Choo Express gives children and adults the chance to ride a trackless train during the show.
The ride is operated by an independent vendor and requires a separate ticket purchase. Pricing may vary by event, so we recommend following our Facebook page for the latest details and show updates.
Junior Engineer Academy
Presented by the National Model Railroad Association (NMRA), the Junior Engineer Academy gives young visitors the opportunity to operate model trains in a fun and educational environment.
Designed specifically for children, this hands-on experience introduces the basics of model railroading while encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and curiosity.
Kids Switching Contest
Test your railroad skills in this free hands-on activity. Participants move rail cars between designated locations on a small operating layout, similar to the way real railroads organize and deliver freight cars. It's a fun introduction to railroad operations and problem-solving.
